Why “available horses”?

A number of people continue to ask…Does Sells Lake Ranch have horses for sale? At the Ranch we have a different approach and hope to have the best impact of the future of the horse and its new owner. There has to be a connection that those inquiring about the horse feel safe, comfortable, and in full control of the animal for it to be made available to each person. This ensures you will be getting a horse that you feel you will be capable of enjoying for years to come! A partner, a friend, and a companion you can count on.

Our “available horses” have to check a number of boxes before we allow interested parties to come out and meet them. With our approach we may ask you questions about where the horse will be kept, what it will be used for, what experience do you have,(both riding and with horses), this allows us to find a horse that best fits the needs of our customers. Horses that come out of training are ready to take in the direction that you want to go. Our horses are coming out of training and prepared for our customers. We encourage you to test ride them once we’ve had the conversation of what is the best direction for you. Being able to test ride a horse helps you elimate chances that a horse will not work for you. We’re here to help!
