Meet the trainer!

Being one of the few training facilities in the Midwest that specializes in starting young horses under saddle, it is critical that our team has a deep understanding of horsemanship. Working with young horses is a sophisticated process where our trainers needs to demonstrate a number personal qualities that can be communicated into the horses and people enrolled in our program. At Sells Lake Ranch we are excited to have brought on an experienced horsewoman to meet the needs of the ranch and that of our valued customers.

We have been following this horse trainers abilities since 2004, watching her start colts, restart horses, resolve issues, and compete on horses she has trained! When a conversation arose about her interest in joining our program at the ranch, it was a definite yes!
